I've just released a new version on my site with support. It'll take a couple days for the Autodesk folks to make a new installer, for now you can download it directly on my site and manually install it make sure to uninstall the previous version. Fantastic Product on Max , used it all the time. Unfortunatley doesnt work with Ive uninstalled the app and tried downloading again and installing but still no joy. Such a shame. Did you use the Autodesk installer or the.

I use max semi-regularly and have no issues with Relink Bitmaps in it. Feel free to email me if you'd like to get it sorted out. It'd be helpful if I know what part doesn't work with Does it not pop up on your screen? Does it not relink a type of bitmap? Does it not relink any of the bitmaps? Hi, I'm sorry it's not working for you. I've tested it with Max and it works fine. Updated and it now works just fine with Max You can download it directly from my site or here.

Its the most useful script I've ever used, lots of hours saved, recomend to all my friends, including the ones that do not use 3D softwares at all.

Recommended for everyone using textures and other assets in 3ds max. Really a helpful script. Very useful for when you get models from other people with dead links. Thank you! Honestly, transferring max projects between systems shouldn't be so darn hard, but this at least fixes one major part of the drama.

Haven't played with all options, but relinking for Vray material texture references worked brilliantly, then converting Vray to Std Material after gave me what I needed.

This is one of the best max scripts I have used in recent years. The hours it has saved me is incredible. I used this script to reorganize my library and models. It made it too easy. You tell it where to look and it does the work for you. Now every time I purchase new models I can place them where I want them in my library and then let the script relocate the textures. Best, Colin. I use this so much! Super plugin, saves time when opening old scenes, saves when max crashes and does not save added paths, greatly saves time searching for paths. A plugin that everyone who constantly works in 3dsmax should install. Great job! This script is hands down the most valuable script we have in our library.

I use it multiple times a day, and would highly recommend it. This plugin makes jumping in and out of old files easy, its a life saver. Relinking bitmaps to downloaded assets etc. I have tryed alternaitves Like from Sini software, which is a paid app but this is by far the most user friendly and fast. Only word of caution is to keep the directories focused, ie have a few folders to reference. Not a full drive for everything as it will have to search everything so obviously take longer.

Good call on limiting the scope of searched directories. Glad to hear it's easy to use, as an artist myself I understand the needs of users :.

This is the first script I install whenever setting up a Max. I see that I am not the only one, well it makes life so much easier! It's the best. One of the best 3rd party script I have used in 3D Studio Max. Wonderful functionality. Saved me tons of time. Well done and thank you!

Highly recommended to any 3D Studio Max user. One of my top 5 maxscripts I use. If you dont have this in your 3ds max toolset, you are making working in Max that much harder for yourself. So useful its ridiculous. Can't rate this one highly enough. It does exactly as it says it will and it has become an essential part of my workflow. Well done. This script is amazing! Thanks so much for this, its a life saver! This plugin is pricless when working on projcts with a lot of tectures. It is the best must-have tool in my day by day work. It is so powerful that I can not even imagine opening a scene and not running RB. It is number one on my priority list. Highly recommended. I can only agree with all positive comments! I don't know what I would do without this plugin, honestly. I think, I click it's icon about times a day. Probably, It's one of the most useful one. Ive been using this script for more years than I can remember and has always been rock solid and saved my but many many times. Ill be very sad if Colin ever stops supporting this script! Due to the very frustrating bug in the configuration of paths limited amount in 3dsmax someone pointed out to this plugin in the forum as a solution for the workflow. It is also very fast to set up the whole hard disk.
